Message from The Rev. Canon Professor Christopher Brittain, Dean of Divinity; Margaret E. Fleck Chair in Anglican Studies

亚洲成人视频 and the Faculty of Divinity are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Jizhang Yi as Director of the Institute for Humanistic Buddhist Thought & Practice for a four-year term.

Dr. Yi received his conjoint PhD in Philosophical Theology from 亚洲成人视频 and the University of Toronto and was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard University. His research spans comparative philosophy, theology and religious studies, with particular interests in Chan/Zen Buddhism, Humanistic Buddhism, existential philosophy and interreligious dialogue. Having served as Interim Director, Dr. Yi has already made valuable contributions to the Institute and the Trinity community. In the past year, he helped establish the present Institute and organized the first international conference hosted by the Institute at the College. In his leadership role, he will continue to expand the research agenda and course offerings of the Institute.

We are delighted to celebrate Dr. Yi’s appointment and look forward to the continued growth and impact of the Institute under his leadership.
